I'm just ignoring all reports til July 1st. We still have the draft and that can drastically change how we approach FA.

This is why that Prince deal was important, Prince is long and agile enough to guard these guys. I'm not sure how good he is on defense now but he has those tools to give those guys some fits, except Embiid. We need a bruiser center for Embiid, a Aaron Baynes type guy. A heavy guy that Embiid can't move, Embiid didn't have the best series against a heavy set guy like Gasol. Get a cheap guy like Bogut, Pachulia, Nene, O'Quinn, Koufas.. just a guy that will be a brick wall for Embiid and Drummond, play him 15 minutes if we ever run into Embiid in the playoffs. Ed Davis did a good job on Embiid before he got injured but I don't think he's tall enough.

They need a power forward. Prince is a small forward that may be able to play power forward we'll see. Either way it's nice to have more options to play that power forward position.
Draft one, trade for one, get a power forward in free agency.
As long as they add one; or 2 of them.

It could be a 250 pound 7 foot center that can also play power forward since they also need a center. (Kill 2 birds with one stone)
I got the burner-Kevin Durant

That is why I’ve been pushing for Butler over Tobias as Kyrie’s co-star since he can defend very well and works like a bulldog.

Imagine a line-up of (if rumors were true that we’re not resigning D’lo):

Kyrie/Dinwiddie
Harris/LeVert
Butler/Musa
Prince/Kurucs
Allen/27th? Or Ed

That’s so much better than having Kyrie/Tobias. We can even get a legit stretch PF like Jamychal Green in the FA to add to our team.

If Philly offers Butler a 5th year, he's not leaving.

I still feel like we're going to sign KD.

That's a bad defensive team. When they got Prince the small forward spot got better because you could bring him off the bench.
He's a good shooter but I'd prefer a better defender next to the point guard. It's up to the coach though.

Adding Jaymychal Green or a power forward like him in free agency works.
It depends on if they choose a center, power forward in the draft and who they can get in free agency.

I don't know if they have enough $$$, but I'd like them to bring back Ed Davis, pay a point guard, and pay a power forward.

Butler would be AWESOME. Hard to see him leave Philly, but Butler is an all-around excellent player. If not Kawhi (and it doesn't look like he's considering a NY team), Butler would be my #2 choice.

Prok is right, we don't play prototypical power forwards, I wouldn't be surprised if most of Prince's minutes are at the 4 spot.

Ehhh Allen is a Capela duplicate. Let Allen build some muscle and grow. This offseason is slowly turning into a disappointment .

i think Rockets want salary cap relief. If we can trade DW for high pick plus allen then just absorb rest of Capela's salary. Allen might be another capela one day. but doubt it's this yr. He got outmatched with every decent big he went up with.

kyrie
dlo
Taurean Prince
Randle
Allen

Would be satisfying offseason for me. Ppl don't know the luxury of having PF who can relentlessly attack the rim and finishing at high fg%..that opens up our shooters. Randle is up there with Giannis and pascal siakam in terms of strength. 34% 3pt shooter vs giannis at 25% v.s siakam at 37%. I know Randle is the best passing big/ball handler outta those 3. We started RHJ, who was a horrible finisher around the rim. So why not start Randle?

Our lineup next yr could easily be
Kyrie
Dlo
Prince
Randle
Capela

We get our max FA..fix our largest weakness at PF. Added rim protector. 3D specialist. Retained Dlo. Can't be so greedy. This team can compete with best of them in the east.
