Warriors praise Raptors (in newspaper form)

Surprised that this has not been posted yet, but the Warriors took out a full page ad in the Toronto Star to congratulate the Raptors. Classy move!

Didn't see this until now. Absolutely a classy and humbling move and I can't wait to see the beginning of the 2019-2020 season!

So classy.

With the moves the Lakers have made, I'm cheering Golden State comes back with avengence.

Tired of the Lakers and rather GSW do it up.

What does a full page ad cost these days?

One thing I learned during this playoff run is my respect for coaches Kerr, Brown and Clifford went up while my respect for Coach Bud went down.

Kerr, Brown and Clifford gave the Raptors their due while raising the level of play from their respective teams. Each gracious in losing.

Bud was cocky and arrogant and looked like an amateur vs Nurse... and let himself get shook by Drake.

Bud congratulated Nurse and the Raps during his closing press conference though. I don't think Brown did.

Agreed...but it wasn't cockiness or arrogance that I noticed. It was his facial expressions. There was something about him that made me feel like he just isn't the guy to lead troops into battle. And maybe that is why he has struggled in the post-season after incredible regular season success. He may be an offensive genius, but when its the playoffs and the opposing team is on a run and you are struggling to keep it together and looking to your coach to take control, this is not the face you want to see.

Seriously though...every time I saw him he looked like he was about to send his soup back and ask to speak to the chef.

I lost a lot of respect for Kerr. At the end of the day he was the one who should have held Durant out.

Agreed.

Dray is great to watch and his press conferences are very entertaining.

Classy organization and Kerr is class personified.
