I'm guessing a TPE, but we'll see.

TPE or did the Wizards manage to preserve the MLE by getting Ish Smith in return at $6 million per?

Smith reported to have committed to a $12 million deal for the next two.

I liked as to but no point in overpaying him.

How much did Chicago pay him? What are we getting back - if it is a TPE - meh.

At least we got an asset.

Hate losing Sato, but it's clear we're in a soft rebuild. Wouldn't mind seeing IT attempt to rehab his value with us. Probably won't work out, but something to watch.

Going to be a lot of losing this year.

At least we're rebuilding our cache of 2nd rounders.

Bulls sending a 2020 2nd round pick, and it looks like the rights to swap the 2023 2nd rounder the Bulls sent to the Wizards in the Porter trade.

I'm happy with this signing, but interested on your thoughts Wiz fans.

He fit well alongside Beal, yeah? I think the same will apply for Lavine then. Also should be able to slide over to the 2 a bit?

If true: was $10m/year too rich for your blood? For me, it's borderline.

He’s a good defender and very efficient player. Can play some 2 a bit but is almost too unselfish. I think they did him a solid by trading him away because there was no way he was starting over Supermax Wall once he returned from injury. He’ll do fine setting up Otto and LaVine

Sad to see Sato go. Fan favorite and quality role player/starter in the absence of Wall. Two 2nd rd picks seems like a fair return. I wonder how much $ he received from CHI.

Yep, really good signing for you guys especially having LaVine & Markkanen who need the ball and he will find Porter as well. You will find him solid on D as well. If Carter is healthy and can rim protect along with Markkanen & Porter's defensive rebounding then your D will improve as well.

I haven't seen how much you guys are paying?

He can play the 1-3. He's decent, he's not worth $10 million a year. The contract we gave Ish Smith was something along the lines of what I would have given him. IDK what else to say lol, he's not going to move the needle but he's a smart player.
