Odds he tries to make Tuesday Tacos a thing and trademark that?

Hmmm. Perhaps I should file a trademark for Tuesday Tacos.

Teams would rather have Joe Johnson than Carmelo Anthony.

I'm surprised Detroit didn't take that shot at Melo, since they got nothing to lose, and drafted Darko over him, could've tried to make it up at the tail end.

Still think Melo gets a roster spot. Brooklyn or Miami.

I honestly don't think anyone on here actually takes anything KD does personally. This is a forum, an NBA forum, where we talk and discuss NBA players. Comments like this always make me roll my eyes.

JJ to the Pistons; sorry PP. He’s just always going to be the one that got away for you.

Running the league straight into the ground. I bet describing basketball as a product some more will help though.

Great career for Livingston considering how it started. Became a much better shooter post-injury to prolong his playing days.

Also, bummer about TinyPic. Everybody needs new avatar hosting.

Livingston is the all timer of “failed preps to pro lotto pick who reinvented himself and became an elite role player.”

What a ride for Young God. Starts to fulfill the promise he had coming out of <very Richard Pryor voice> Peoria only to suffer perhaps the most gruesome action-related injury in the history of the league. Fights through rehab and adjusts to his limited capabilities. Bounces throughout the league, suffers on some of the most moribund franchises and attains a rep as a great lockerroom and glue guy. Finally bounces over to the Bay and becomes a key component on the best team of the decade. I'll add my voice that the comeback player of the year award needs to be reinstituted and named after Livingston.

FWIW, the old Simmons pieces [probably Page 2, I guess] on pre-injury Livingston are great reading. I don't think he would have become the next great PG as he was heralded, but he was a blast to watch and had unreal court sense.

Livingston's late career success with the Warriors was a nice little fairytale story.
