I’m surprised at LeBron’s height. I always thought he was 6’8” with shoes on, but he’s a legit 6’9” with shoes on.

Isn't Klay quite young to lose 0,75 inches? He was measured at 6'5,75 without shoes in 2011.

And I don't buy Lebrons height. Especially if Durant is only 6'9,5. Lebron appeared shorter than Kevin Love when he was on the Cavs and Love was measured at 6'7,75 without shoes.

This was in 2012, when Lebron was 27,5 years old. That doesn't seem like a 1 inch difference between him and Durant. He even looks shorter than Love. I think teams are making it up. Those numbers are not reliable, unless the NBA sends guys officialy to measure the players

Camera angle and slouching can play factors though. LeBron has always looked the exact same height as Love and look at Love compared to Durant in that picture. Looks about a 1 inch difference there. Also here in motion from a direct angle they don’t look that far apart in height. I think Durant’s super slender frame, high shoulders, and long arms make him seem a lot taller than he actually is.

It seems to me the Warriors have been rounding down heights. Draymond was also 6'5.75 pre draft but is being listed at only 6'5.

There's a correlation between how insecure players are and the difference between their listed height and actual height

I've seen a lot of forum users here during years, who have been bashing older eras (60s and 70s specifically) how players were shorter and that's why longer players dominated. Well, well good old knowledge of American players lose 2 inches when arriving to play in Europe still holds true it seems.

That said I'm a bit skeptical about Lebron's height as someone mentioned above.

I guess if you consider Lebron came into the league at what, 18? Not crazy that he grew since he was measured at the combine.

Still surprising, not totally sure I buy it.

Yeah, that 6'8" height and weight has been the same since he was a rookie.

I completely buy it, a 19-20 year old growing 1-2 inches, especially at these guys heights, isn't abnormal.

Yeah, there's something fishy going on there. Makes me think that Durant might wear lifts in his shoes.
