Good Riddance to this guy. Amazing rookie year, looked as promising as anyone on our team. Still a very talented player, but last year he clearly became a more selfish player and you could see in his play style and efficiency. Now after starting the season 1-10 shooting with a -24, he says start me or trade me?

I say we move him before we make the mistake of paying him fat. Hes not worth it. With Barnes, Fox, Buddy, Bagley we have plenty of offensive options.

My idea, move him to Toronto for Powell/1st.

Report isn’t true IMO, and I consider him a good player that had a rough game one and was solid in the preseason. No need to trade him IMO

I agree with this.
This was going to come up sooner or later. It’s just an extension of 1) Kings can’t sign all their guys, 2) Kings will lose Buddy for nothing 3) Well Kings can’t afford to pay BB, 4) BB is coming off the bench and is good enough to be a starter so either start him or trade him. Without anything from him.

I’m not saying there isn’t an issue with BB, IMO starting is important to him.
I mentioned this after last season that it would become an issue. I really like his game, but when you factor in how much he enjoys international ball (WC this year, Olympics next) I would have looked at all options this summer and moving forward, that includes keeping him of course.
The international play is the thing that worries me, it’s going to be after his 4th year where he can potentially isn’t playing for Serbia. If he keeps getting tired late in seasons it’s not going to be worth it, and that’s without making the playoffs (where he would show up massive in the right circumstances).

IMO team won’t get a better player in FA and he has an old mans game that should age. He’s our Ginóbili. As long as the contract isn’t outrageous you match

IMO I would consider trading him as soon as possible. His rookie year was solid, but later he declined, became much more selfish, and last but not least, his shot has fallen off the cliff. He's still solid & a good player, but he's not particularly good in any category. There are teams, that could be interested to sign him for coming off the bench. He's not among the youngest players anymore, he's in a win-now mode, and should the Kings be not able to offer winning environment right now, it's better to trade him until he still possesses some market value.

I would trade him for some youngster(s) who would bring some spark into the game. Just as Richaun Holmes brought this year.

I’ve defended him, but lately he’s been making me look a bit foolish of late

Still, the Kings have reportedly offered him 4/50+ already, and it’s just a few games in, so the team feels he’s a part of the future beyond a couple game bad start, and I don’t anticipate this play continuing

Though BOgi denied the initial report already

Bogdanovic still finds himself struggling to flourish in his role & his poor play continues.

If things stay the same I hope he doesnt resign.

What's the scouting report on his defence?

If he can fit in to the Raptors defensive identity, I'd be at least curious about dealing for him (for example, Powell + picks) if he can bring some size to our backcourt.

He has a really large wingspan, which helps with tipping the ball (both on reaches and tipped passes). He can actually play some good man defense, especially when he locks down in crunch time. That being said, he can sometimes struggle to change direction quickly against really quick guards. He also sags a lot on D, which normally results in him having to close out hard and then get beat off the dribble because he closed out too hard. This is his biggest issue, but I think it can possibly be corrected through good coaching and a potential scheme change. He also could be aided by some better defenders at his side (Fox is good, but gets lost from time to time. Buddy is decent, but he has similar issues to Bogi... and is shorter).

Well, in case you're wondering, Norman Powell is a pest on defence, but streaky on O. If he can overcome his inconsistency, the starting SG spot on the Raptors would be his, and we'd avoid resorting to our current dual-PG setup with Lowry + VanVleet. He has the skill, but not the focus, as of yet, to average +15 ppg on 30 mpg with a more consistent output.

I'd wait until mid-January. If the improvement isn't there by then, I'd take a chance on a deal for Bogdanovic.
