Didn't get to watch as much of this game, but JJJ getting in foul trouble (again) and JV being on a minutes restriction killed us since we had to go small. This especially seemed to hurt the bench unit judging from the plus/minus.

Consider yourself lucky. Jenkins fielded Tyus, Allen, Brooks, Anderson, Clarke, with 5 to go in the 3rd that led to a 22-0 run where we got to watch the Lakers dance with the game being thrown. Hear the broadcast team & fans cream themselves over Davis getting to the FT line 20+ times before the 4th, all while not being called for his own obvious infractions.
Here's a quick summary on how the game imploded in the 3rd Q.
5:02 - Allen TO, Lakers 68/67
4:34 - Crowder missed 3, Lakers 70/67 - Jonas is subbed for Anderson
4:09 - Allen missed 3, Lakers 72/67
3:36 - Allen pull up jumper miss, Lakers 74/67
3:10 - Allen layup blocked Lakers 76/67 (It was actually a clear foul by Davis for a non call despite him going to the line 20+ times).
2:47 - Clarke missed jump shot, Lakers 76/67
2:23 - Allen TO, lost ball, Lakers 78/67
2:01 - Anderson missed layup, Clarke misses the tip back Lakers 80/67
1:35 - Jaren is subbed in for Clarke, fouls out on the next play & is replaced by Bruno, Lakers 82/67
53 - Allen missed 3, Lakers 84/67
47 - Marko a bad miss on a 3pt attempt, Lakers 86/67
14 - Bruno blocked by Howard, Lakers 86/67
5 - Allen pull up shot blocked, Lakers 88/67
Just look at that 5min offensive sequence from Allen. He almost single handily helped LA open a 20 point lead on a 22-0 run, in a 5 minute span, with his low IQ & selfish play. The undersized combo guard was no better on the defensive end either. Not sure I can
watch a full season of Brooks & Allen taking shots away from Ja & Jaren.
Jaren is finding it hard to find a rhythm between the fouls & chaotic guard play on both ends. Last year he had the support & structure of veteran play. Neither he or Clarke are adept at creating their own offense, their games are complimented outside of Ja, Crowder, with low IQ chuckers & subpar defensive guard play.
Any updates on Josh Jackson?.
