Here is the thing, if we start caring about trying to maintain HCA throughout, we cant be looking at resting up Lebron/AD in many of our remaining games. These meaningless games suddenly turn into "every game counts".....we dont have tiebreaker w Bucks; they have to have more losses than us at the end.

So what will be our value/ choice? rest up AD Bron and go fresh into the playoffs or keep trying to win every single one of these games to obtain HCA?

Definitely not worth overexerting the team on the off chance the Bucks finish with more losses, and remember there's a 5 games in 6 days stretch in April and you would expect the Lakers to concede least one of those by sitting all the starters. FWIW 2 of Lebron's 3 championships were without homecourt in the Finals and he's won road game 7s twice.

Yeah, I'm a huge HC guy, probably overly so, but at the end of the day, nothing is gonna matter if we wear LeBron and/or Davis to get it. That stretch is probably going to kill us because there's no way you play them in all five of those games. Sucks because I didn't think we had any shot of catching the Bucks and they're right there...

This is a coachs challenge. Rest for Lebron is a must. But what will win it all for us, and we learned this from previous championships, is Chemistry with the role players. Even newly aqcuired players markief etc. If we can get everyone on the same.page and fully knowledgeable on where to be, when Lebron gets to the rack. What to do if doubled. What to do when the Clips Quick trap. When lebron drives and they put up a wall in the lane, where should players position themselves. Defensive assignments..etc...all these things need time to develop the chemistry for it. However, Bron cant play all the time, he needs to be rested, to prepare for #17. Coach is going to have to teach his a butt off.

We've been deadly away from Staples all season. Better than the Bucks... Home court would be nice, but not worth risking injuries or burnout...
What we also don't want to do though, is rest everyone, go cold, and come into the playoffs out of sync.
That last game against the Clips is going to be a great tune-up.

Also there is a good possibility that the Raptors can best Milwaukee in their playoff series. If that is the case (if we come out of the west) it will be Lakers v Toronto.

I would say the next BIG game (and most Relevant remaining game) is the @Toronto.

Expect a playoff atmosphere and Lebron and AD going full force and full wizardry in that one also.

Random question: if a restricted FA gets an offer and his team matches that offer, is the player obligated to sign with his team or can he choose to sign with other team?

If the offer is matched he stays with his current team. Wouldn't be much of a "restriction" if he could still leave.

That’s sounds fun to watch to be honest

Nba league pass has gone free. So I’ll be watching that.
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

NBA is thinking about making a best of 5 for the first round and a SINGLE GAME (march madness style) for 2nd and 3rd rounds.
Best of 5 for Finals.

Lowest i would go is best of 3. To go march madness style would produce just that, madness. New jersey could win on a buzzer beater

Yeah I really don't get the one game elimination. Doesnt really make sense. Sounds like a "younger brother " idea.

Also they said they want to have all games in Las Vegas.
