I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that the Wizards won the game Ducler started.

True, but I figured it was a bad precedent to have a disinterested bot (cyborg?) start the threads. Plus, the other problem is that Dulcer threads don't go up until about 2 hours before the game is live, so it inhibits potential conversation.

Dulcer is a French dairy product, not quite cheese, not quite butter, not quite yogurt, but somehow, not quite perfect.

It's all good. I'm just saying, if the Wizards lose, it's 100% your fault.

Indiana will be on a back-to-back. They play in Charlotte tonight.

We had a decent shot at this one until Amok started the game thread.

Indy always seems like a team getting close to be a contender but not quite there. Lotsa injuries - not just Dipo. With both Turner and Sabonis possibly out, it'll be interesting to see how big Goga plays against our young bigs. With Brogdon starting at the point, they're not a real quick team, but he's got a size advantage over ****. And CJ Miles returns to one of his old homes to... cheers?

What? I can't say our 2 point guards names together?

When you think about it, the word filter is appropriate. Whenever you put IT and Ish together, the defense is so bad it makes you want to shout expletives.

Ok fine, I'll put a space between Ish and IT next time. :censored:

Are the Wizards two for two on their last two first round picks neither of which were in high lottery? How possible?

Feels more and more likely that TBJ was a Tommy Shepard pick. Maybe he's actually competent at his job unlike EG.

Just tell me who I need to snitch on to get out of this! I could get a series of unfortunate facial tattoos if that would help...

I feel like this is going to be a bad loss (125-111) Indy. Don't know why.

I agree - because even though Indy is playing the end of a back2back, they are super-motivated, because they blew a huge 4th quarter lead to lose in OT by 2, and they got a total of 7 foul shots the entire game vs 42 for Charlotte. If Indy had won that game, I'd favor the Wiz to beat them, because Indy would be happy and tired. Now, they're angry with a chip on their shoulder at home.

Otoh, that lack of foul shots... and Brogdon had 5 of the 7 - is mainly because they don't have a real penetrator. While Brogdon is doing a GREAT job at the point, he's ideally a 2 - doesn't have the speed/quickness and play-making ability that most PG's have - which means Indy doesn't get many easy points. He's really playing amazing picture-perfect basketball - but there's almost no room for error. So, Isaiah's going to be defending Brogdon... ouch. If I was IT, I'd try pestering him and go for steals.

The reason I think Indy is tough for us is the offensive rebounding and inside out games of Sabonis and Turner. That they both might be out is reason for optimism. And yes, stopping Brogdon is the key - I say start and let Brown guard him and continually help trap him. He is going to chew IT into bits and pieces.

And Broggy's a deadeye shooter. He'll shoot right over IT if IT doesn't get help. Agree with you on the rebounding - if Sabonis can't play. Turner's sloppy on the boards and doesn't have a strong base/big but. And if Leaf plays, he's another lightweight. Goga could be trouble. Hey, we handled Drummond. Rui could have a big game - it's hard to get in foul trouble against Indy.

Darn - didn't make it to page 2.

Almost.
