Cam Reddish on pace for worst shooting season in modern era

He’s shooting under 30% heading into tonight and just went 1-7 (in 11 minutes). This is insane. Right now the lowest I’ve seen is Gary Harris who shot 30.4% on 217 attempts for the season. He was a bench player though.

Cam Reddish for some inexplicable reason is a starter and is on pace to shoot over 650 times this season. If this happens we could be in for the worst shooting season in NBA history. I don’t think this will ever be broken either. No one is really that close in terms of sheer shot attempts and amount of bricks.

He’s awful.

He was garbage at duke playing Zion and rj. Bricked all the open shots

I was laughing a ton when hawks fans was celebrating him dropping to them lol.

Isn't Cam the starter because Huerter is still out?

Anyways, before the draft people were saying Reddish would be a boom-or-bust type of guy. He seems to be trending bust so far but it hasn't even been a third of the way through his rookie season. He has actually been trending upwards as the season has progressed - I think he started the season shooting around .180 or something.
I think we'll know better what kind of player he is in his sophomore season ... if he still gets minutes.

wait a minute! i thought all the rookies voted him as having the best future of all the rookies. i thought he was the wild card in the draft who could end up being the best of the bunch

He really could have used a year or 2 extra of college... He should be in the G league right now though

Ingram was terrible his rookie season, but unlike Reddish he was actually good in college.

I see the athlete but I just don't see the basketball player.

He was a guy on my "do not draft" list. Not at any draft slot, period.

But Ingram was good in college this guy had a terrible season at Duke.
