James Johnson was a gritty determined Heat player. It wasn't his fault we paid him too much. Good luck, JJ. Kick some ass!

JJ isn't a bad guy, but we overpaid massively and he got lazy - and it killed his career.

Hope we learned the Lesson here.

I respect the hell out of the way JJ responded to being in Spo's doghouse this year. He didn't sulk. He just worked his way out of it. I'll keep tabs on him. He's a Heat lifer as far as I'm concerned...

Feel like we are going to miss him at times. Situational player, but exactly what the doctor ordered during certain matchup.

James Johnson holds a second-degree black belt in karate and fought in his first mixed martial arts bout at age 18. He has an undefeated record in seven MMA matches, while also holding a 20–0 record in kickboxing matches

Oof he’s a Karate master not Kung Fu
