Inside The NBA All-Star Roast

Post#1 » by Scott Hall » Mon Feb 17, 2020 7:47 am

Anybody see this? was one of the best things about All-Star weekend. I especially love how
everyone slams Kenny Smith.

For some reason the full episode that's on Youtube doesn't include Jeff Ross maybe because he was considered
by many to be the best they cut him out and gave him his own special clip? anyways if you don't have time
to watch the whole roast Jeff Ross monologue is worth checking out.

I really liked half of the roast but hated the other half. It was either great or unwatchable with little in between lol.

If they wanted the Indian immigrant demographic, Hasan Minhaj was the clear cut option. He's a comedian, which Lilly is trying to be and an avid NBA fan.

Jeff Ross was only one worth the watch.

I also only tuned in for Jeff Ross. Tiffany was decent but overall idk why GP and lilly singh were there.

GP got on stage and it was so cringe. He complimented the entire cast instead of roasting them

Russell Peters (Edit) for the Indian demographic. He's also a fan. Minhaj is just weak, sticks to being PC and can barely evoke laughter. Even bent over backwards to the Saudis.

Jeff Ross was good. They should've got Dave as well.

Horrible.

Most surprising was the non appearance of Kevin Hart. Must be busy with other projects atm.

I wanted to enjoy this but it turned into a love fest after a few jokes.

It needed martinis and more alcohol so the digs would be more personal. Too PG13 still.

You could tell from the lineup it would bomb except for Jeff Ross. Ross does roasts all the time and can still kill while PG rated.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Yeah, will join the consensus and say it was pretty cringe except for Jeff. JB Smoove had some barbs, especially at the end, but he was a bit too all over the place. Honestly didn't see much beyond that cause it was getting too painful tbh.

Good idea, especially with all the guys being super-roastable lol, just didn't quite come together.
