Gordon for Lavine

Post#1 » by drosereturn » Mon Feb 24, 2020 8:41 am

Bulls gets a project to develop at SF while Magic gets their starting 2g.

One problem with this is Evan overlaps position so how about Young/Sato+ Felicio (expiring) if Magic insists?
This can be done in a separate trade im fine with or without.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

It is a bad sign when a 24 year old in his 6th NBA season is called a "project."

I would think that the plan would be to team up Lavine and Gordon and I do believe Gordon could play SF if he had Markannen at the 4 or look to trade Markannen in a 3 way that gets the bulls a true PG and a SF to let Gordon play the 4 !

I agree, this is a little absurd.

In regards to the original proposal, I think a Fournier (either sign and trade or opt in and trade)+ '20 pick (likely the #15) will interest them more and make more sense fit wise.

Chicago needs more veteran leadership so Fournier would fit like a glove. Coby White either becomes full-time PG or continues to give minutes off the bench.

I would love to package Fournier and a 1st for Lavine. If they want cap flexibility, I would do DJ + Aminu + 1st rounder and a 2nd rounder

what is his problem in the locker room?

I guess the fact that he's clearly not a fan of Boylan's stupid decisions? But yeah, weird reason to not want him when there are other valid reasons. Zach's problems have never been off the court to my knowledge, it's just playstyle and lack of bball IQ that's stopping him. By all accounts he's a hard worker and I've never heard a peep about locker room issues despite him playing on some of the more dysfunctional teams.

I think Gordon is best suited playing the 4, so I don't think it makes much sense trading for him while Lauri is still in the mix, especially if it's going to leave the Bulls with a major hole at the 2.

Magic need to attach a 1st here, awful for Chicago.

If I can rehome Thad and if Fournier is a goner, I at least consider it for both teams.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

yeah i mean, not like he has any talent or anything

he would instantly be the best offensive player on the team.

so you wouldnt have Booker on the team? Beal? CJ? Lilliard? D Mitchell? there are a lot of players who dont have a great DRTG. luckily its a team game, not a 1 on 1 game.
