That flaming horse one is amazing

How can a Gores keep signing off on any of the jersey designs presented to him since he bought the team?

They are so bad - straight up terrible it's not even funny

Motor City with Detroit, MI in a circle? That's the best a design firm could come up with

Am I the only guy in the world who's not interested in reviving the Teal era set? I don't understand why the Gen Z guys are so obsessed with it.

All the Pistons need to do is get rid of the ugly "Chrome" and "Motor City" jerseys, and bring back the Goin' To Work era red alternate as the third jersey, alongside the standard home white and road blue. That'd be a perfect set, IMO.

I’m a Gen X guy, and I wasn’t a fan of the teal era (I think they unveiled those uniforms the summer that Allan Houston left), but still liked some usage of the horse. In fact, when they initially went back to the red, white, and blue at the start of the “Goin to Work” era, they actually had the horse logo on the shorts. Those were cool. For some reason, they went away from that.

It's all about the nostalgia cycle.

Gen Z folks remember the Teal jerseys as their FIRST Piston jersey. Whereas millennials like me are old enough to remember the pre-teal era and thus don't have a particular nostalgia for what, outside of Grant Hill, was a pretty uninspired era.

I wonder if Nike contracts local designer or just has some in house guy doing all of them with rudimentary understand of "local flavor" for each. Detroit = Motor City = Muscle Car Racing Stripes design.

In terms of design those are nice, but count me amongst those with no interest in the teal. I like our traditional colors, in the brighter variety like the Rip pic pictured above.
