Two of the original stretch 5's who were both important contributor to deep, championship teams.

Sikma probably has a slight longevity advantage. But who was better overall?

I believe that Sikma was better offensive player overall, while defensively it's close. That gives Jack clear, but not big advantage in this comparison.

Sikma is better on offense as he is also a good passing, in addition to peaking higher as a scorer. He is also a solid defenisve anchor, so him overall.

Laimbeer was the better defensive rebounder, Sikma the quicker and more mobile defender as well as the better passer, shooter, and scorer. Based on legal skills, Sikma is a clear and full level above Laimbeer. Laimbeer does possibly get extra points for getting into opponents heads by being one of the dirtiest players in NBA history; it does help your team sometimes. But it's not enough.
