So long as Kyrie tests negative with the swab one last time today,
I can't believe the NBA makes him sit out on TNT on MLK Day?

Kyrie is cleared to play, it is on the training staff to give the green light.

We’re only 1.5 games back of the #1 seed. Let’s make a statement push tonight with the Bucks seeing the Lakers this week while we get Cleveland.

Hyped for this game. Bucks are legit, I think we're legit, should be a great game.

The training staff wants to make sure he's in game shape. missing as many games as he did has consequences.

Correct.

If we sneak out a win tonight, we get him into a 4 game win streak and going into the Cleveland series. Then, against Miami twice.

Holding out Kai sounds like the coaching staff is laying down the law, and honestly, it's probably for the best.

We all know that Irving is a gamer, he's probably in peak physical shape. It's more a matter of buying in to the team concept, especially with such a significant new addition. Kyrie is going to have to prove to Nash & Co that he's reliable, that we won't have to chase him or wonder his whereabouts 10 more times this season. Win or lose, missing this one should sting for KI.

That aside, we still pose a threat to a very tough Milwaukee team. I expect the starting lineup to be the same as Saturday: Harden, Harris, Durant, Green and Jordan. I would prefer Brown and keep Green as the backup PF/C, but I'm good with it. We have size and strength over the Bucks' guards, but they are probably the 2nd-stingiest defensive backcourt in the league. Harden is all-world, but we'll need a special effort from him.

Durant probably won't guard Giannis the entire game (Green will pester him primarily is my guess), but I'll pay close attention to when these two are 1v1. Both are athletic marvels, and both MVPs rightfully believe that the path in the Eastern Conference runs through them.

Jordan is on an island. Lopez can beat him at all 3 levels, although the former Net hasn't gotten off to the best start this season. Let's hope they play to a stalemate, or at least that Nash cuts DJ's minutes to staunch the bleeding.

I'm happy with my team, and I have faith in them. Let's do MLK proud!
Some people really have a way with words. Other people... not... have... way.

I hope we can hear from him about why he’s not in game shape (meaning why he took the last several games off in the first place).

There is no need to rush him back though so I think this is the right move by the training staff. Last thing need is for him to get injured cause of a conditioning issue.

I need Steve, Udoka and JV to show me something here tonight.

The Bucks will obviously put Jrue on James, Middleton on Joe and Giannis on KD. Lopez on Jordan is already a mismatch.

We need to really get creative tonight and throw out some guys who can be scrappy and compete defensively like TJ, Perry and more minutes for Bruce.

Kyrie don't post what he does for people and how active he is with charity events. If you wonder what he was doing, he went out and bought Floyd's family their own house.

He left bad impression chilling in club with pandemic all time high. Other than that I'm cool with him. Life is beyond game, he can afford to take few days out. We all call out sick. If his head ain't there, I don't want half azz Kyrie out there.

That's why I just laugh when see how select few trying to send Din out every time they has a chance. We have owner with cash to spend and he willing to do so.

Can't wait to see that 1 - 3 pick and roll with Harden and Durant

Irving out again. Why? He is cleared by the nba to play. Who thinks this is still personal reasons but the nets don’t want to say

Nah, the Nets performance team wants him to practice first. Basically, injury prevention.
