Things to watch for as the Mavericks face the Hawks

Luka vs Trae

Having only actually faced off twice against each other in the regular season, it’s still worth highlighting this matchup of two of the more exciting guards in the league; two guards that will be eternally linked, if only by Twitter fan bases.

The Atlanta Hawks guard is averaging 27 points, four rebounds, and nine assists this season, helping lead a team that did a lot of work on the free agency front in the off season. The Hawks will be without at least one of their primary additions, Bogdan Bogdanovic, who is recovering from a knee injury.

Nevertheless, Luka vs Trae should become appointment viewing, with both guards showing the ability to take over a game with the snap of a finger. Perhaps it’s this sort of matchup that helps the Mavericks pull out of their slump.

Slap in our faces. Whatever let’s beat them like a drum. Tired of these whiney Mavs and their F’d up fans. Oh oh Go Big or go home GTFO here. I had a manager who was from Texas that kept saying that. She really needed some vitamin D, but that’s neither here nor there.
