Sans more than 1 player demonstrating clutch shooting from outside and having the green light to fire it is the only reasonable option for this coaching staff to actually justify the two paint ltd big rotation and current sl ...the opposition is not going to respect you with 2 paint ltd players trying to beat you with no 3s in the arsenal and guards or wings not shooting at all or worse shooting and doing it at a horrendous rate.
This team as is could be so much better than they are right now, even with the obvious hit they are taking with no Nance or Love.
I never liked Prince at the 4 before CLE but at least he can generate some spacing.
I think fans might have to come to the conclusion they are in tank mode again with this non sensical line up

I missed the game last night but how is it that Sexton played almost the entire game but ended up -7 while Garland played nearly 33 minutes and was -31. Were the 7 minutes that Sexton wasn't on the floor just a 24-0 run or something?

The Blazers pulled Dame pretty early, but Sexton got to play with Allen as to where Garland got stuck playing with Drummond (who the Cavs are only now disclosing has been battling back issues).

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Even if Sexton never took another 3 or made another trip to the line he is going to stick as a bench player for a long time with his best immitation of pbev pestering an all star whos bread and butter is 3s to a big fat doughnut in that category. But ''everyone" knows Sexton is much more than a bench role player.
DG got destroyed trying to defend gtj and okoro couldn't stop iso melo.
Overall i was ok since they got rid of the 2 center rotation but they still are not playing good enough defense as a team part of the reason us cedi was in the dog house .
I think if dre is hurt that helps his trade stock hes been so trashy of late which aint saying much for his trade value besides something like a meh 2nd expiring swap or a late first maybe if Cle eats a longer deal which seems useless
