Re: Rotation Post Trade Deadline
My guess would be, when fully healthy outside of the two season ending injuries:
PG: Anthony/MCW/Hampton/Randle
SG: Harris/Ross/Bacon/Mane
SF: Porter Jr./Ennis
PF: Okeke/Birch
C: Carter Jr./Bamba
Maybe even swap Okeke and Birch. But I think Okeke will start the rest of the season.

When is Cole scheduled to return? We no longer need to extend injuries to tank efficiently

Re: Rotation Post Trade Deadline
Immediate rotation...
G: MCW, Randle
G: Ross, Hampton
F: Ennis, Bacon
F: Okeke, Birch
C: Carter Jr., Bamba
If Cole Anthony and Gary Harris are able to return, they'll take Randle's and Hampton's spots (although I hope it's actually Bacon's spot).
Over/Under on how many games they win over these final 28... 2.5?

Re: Rotation Post Trade Deadline
I highly doubt Otto Porter will ever play for us..
Also there is no reason to keep MCW in active rotation any more. Give Hampton some min to see what he can do.
There is also no particular reason to play anybody more than 25 mpg since everything is (again) casting for future..

Re: Rotation Post Trade Deadline
Cliff said in the last pregame that Cole was able to shoot and run, but unable to do any contact drills because the rib wasn't healed yet. So I'll be surprised if it isn't a few more weeks.thelead wrote:When is Cole scheduled to return? We no longer need to extend injuries to tank efficiently

Since he's expiring, we'll probably just waive him. Same as we're doing with Jeff Teague in the Fournier trade.

This is what I am totally hoping for.....bamba and wendell... split near even.... okeke starting... cole... hampton... all of them should be getting a chance to sink or swim!
Gonna be a rough end to the season.... but I hope Cliff can milk the talent out of em... and give us at least a glimpse of the future.

Re: Rotation Post Trade Deadline
I’m not convinced that Porter gets bought out. We do still need bodies to play games with. Harris isn’t set to play anytime soon so I could see him sticking around to not kill the players that are here minutes wise.

zach harper and hollinger say it's likely he will be bought out.

I forgot that Carter is a center. Poor Bamba. Back to the end of the bench for you.

MCW/Cole/Hampton
Harris/Ross
Okeke/Ennis
Porter/BIrch
Carter/Bamba
Ross will need to average 63ppg.

Wasn’t Carter crying that he’s a PF at one point? (Like AD)
He’s def in our center rotation but I’d like to see some experimentation with him next to Bamba this year.
I say Hampton is our PG until proven otherwise. He and Cole can co-exist as combo guards while we evaluate for next year.

Depth chart thread
Magic fans, with Harris out, there are a number of possibilities for the depth chart. Notably Birch, Bamba and Harris could all stack a claim as a starter. But as Carter wants to be a PF, should Orlando be working him in to that set of skills now anyhow?
I note the Magic now only has 11 healthy players:
Carter-Williams/Hampton/Randle
Ross/Bacon
Porter/Ennis
Carter/Okeke
Bamba/Birch
