I have faith in our TBDs.

Interested to see the opening day lineup. There's been scuttlebutt that Semien will bat second, which would be decidedly sub-optimal unless he rediscovers his 2019 stick. He should be batting in the bottom third of the order. Hopefully they don't strike out 27 times against Cole, who looked dominant vs. the Jays in spring training.

Series win here would be huge! Let's go Blue Jays!

“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Acquiring Graterol seems like a sure sign that McGuire will be DFA-traded shortly. Gives us a AAA backup/emergency callup option.

I am tempted to call in sick and go to the game

I work from home... you'd better believe I'll be watching live, at least in the background. :)

It's been a long and crummy winter... very much looking forward to some baseball.

COVID is still a thing and Yankees games are being blacked out? Seems legit.

thing with New York, is if you want to be vaccinated, you can be. they are literally giving it to anyone who wants it.

they just recently have started vaccinating anyone above 30yo. and you can walk into a pharmacy and ask if they have extra vaccinations

Yeah, completely different scenario here.

The optics just seem weird though despite the availability of a vaccine.

Nonetheless, it is baseball time.

Great play by Semien to save the inning. If the Jays come back and win, that's the turning point.

Teoscar!
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.
