So Miami is running it back at big money with just Lowry added?

I guess they feel what happened last year is reversible. But not sure Lowry is the difference between getting 4-0'd and winning.

Watching nba tv free agent fever, they said Lakers can only offer minimum deals, why can't they use taxpayer MLE?

Caruso is basically Donte, very happy he's gone from the Lakers, one more weaker contender.

I think there could be more to Donte going forward if he can bounce back from whatever happened to him, but functionally yes. You need to have guys who can play without the ball. That's not a PER-friendly role.

Ideally obviously you want everybody to be able to do everything both on and off the ball, but in reality you've got to make a team somehow and there's only one Giannis.
