Can't be

I'm one of those who shares your opinion, Bishop. If the Miami Heat trade for Marcus Smart and Collin Sexton, we are in a very good position to complete a Sign-and-Trade with the Clippers. There is also the possibility that the Heat will retain Tyler Herro after those trades. We could fill out the rest of the team roster and be under the Luxury Tax Apron.
Edrice Adebayo
$28,103,500
Kawhi Leonard
$39,344,900
Jimmy Butler
$36,016,200
Marcus Smart
$13,839,285
Collin Sexton
$6,349,671
Ryan Anderson
$5,214,584
Total
$128,868,140

Anything short of trading for Dame is a lateral move at best that doesn't put us in championship contention. It'll be very hard to get excited for this team next season. We're now a treadmill team again.

Miami WE HAVE A PROBLEM. This summer league team is going to be lit. So many dawgs and its going to be a problem for Miami. We will win or be close to the SL championship no doubt but the problem is these guys are going to be going so hard for a spot that we might get the wrong true long term read on them as prospects. They are all similar J Rich type late bloomers good size big guard types and then there is Potter who is a senior that looks like he can do it all like a better Plumblee brother. I really Like Potter and the slew of guards we signed its going to be an interesting team to watch and scout. I say give them all to Jimmy and let him decide who has got it and who doesnt.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

I think the competition is good. These guys are not gonna be looked at as long term projects. They want to find someone who can possibly contribute next season without a whole lot of coaching and attention

Another dude that can replace Duncan's shooting is Korkmaz. Would be cheaper and he can get really hot

Not mad about this. They got warmed up with the Olympics. Hopefully come in ready to play in Summer League.
We need to see if KZ and Precious can show out.
I can't even imagine how our summer league is going to function with like 9 guards and 2 bigs/wings.
Really strange we picked up like 6 guys that are all 6'4-6'5 ball handlers.

But no Iguodala yet? Hmmmm why announce Dragic today and not Iguodala? They could’t find a taker in trade for Dragic but did with Iggy’s 15?

Dunc for Lonz.
We are going to have to open up cap space but maybe Lonzo’s camp wants the Bulls.

Truthfully Amian Lillard might not put this team into championship contention either, not without other pieces. No question he's a bonafide scorer but the game is more than just one side.
