Presti got screwed moving back in this draft. Now he will do everything in his power offering all his garbage picks to get into the top 4.

Dont think anyone bites

Enjoy Barnes

SGA
Dort
Barnes

has elite defence potential. And most teams score through their Guards and wings so their backcourt has the potential to shut you down

Scottie Barnes is the guy here on the basis of what he currently brings to the table: elite defense, very strong playmaking (elite for a Forward), excellent feel for the game/bbiq on both ends, elite athleticism.

If he develops a consistent jump shot, he has a good chance to outperform his draft slot and be one of those guys you look back on that should have gone higher.

If he doesn't, I think he's a valuable starter with All-NBA Defense potential, which is a pretty great floor.

trade down. I can't stomach picking Barnes at #6 when I know he is a mid 1st talent.

They already have 16 and 18 and a lot of future 1sts. I see them trading up if anything.

OKC has a lot of flexibility. I expect them to make a hard push for #3.

I agree, just said this.

If Mobley falls and green is off the board? I see the cavs trading to 6. Why reach for Kuminga or Barnes at 3 if you can just take whoever is left at 6

Going with Barnes. Elite D and if he can fix his shot it will be a steal. If not, Ben Simmons 2.0 maybe

BTW, I really like these threads. Would be nice to have links to the previous voted threads as I did not see them.

There's a clear top 6 it seems. #7 is going to be where the draft gets interesting.

OKC’s pick dropping was catastrophic. They don’t have an incoming 1st that looks any good until 2024(Houston) and that’s protected 1-4, turning into 2024 and 2025 2nds if it falls in the range. Shai can’t sit next year too and he raises the floor a ton- just look at their record with him last season. They have no 2nd banana for him on the roster, I don’t think they get that guy in the draft this year and I wouldn’t count on a high pick anytime soon, and they sure aren’t going to get him in FA. How long will he want to be there, even if he signs his max extension? I think they need to bail on the Shai era. Try to use him to get #1, use #6 as well. Keep tanking.
