GREAT JOB, PATFO!   (Not just because I called it of course, I really like how we've addressed team needs while handing the team over to the younger group to see what we need to add going forward).

Landale is a stud.

Improved as a defender, but a good/great 3pt shooter, great passer, bashes the boards etc.

One of the best bigs at the Olympics so far.

Think he will be an Ingles style pickup where he's in the league for a decade.

Congrats. There are no guarantees, but he has a good game, and works.

Two years ago he was a poor defender. Now he's solid. Who knows where he'll be in two more years with your development program?

Easy guy to cheer for.

Some longer highlights from season before last:

He's bigger now, and makes crisper moves if you know what I mean - cuts, post moves, etc. I think he'll become a fan favourite like three games in.

Hmm. There have been great Aussie defensive types so far, like Dellavedova, Simmons, Matisse or Bogut types. I wonder if he has some of that potential, or we just found a bust like Baynes. Australia is a top country right now when it comes to international basketball, and I think the NBA just has to figure out how their athletes can succeed here. If he's amongst the Aussies that panned out, I'll be ecstatic.

I know Baynes has had some underwhelming years mixed in, but 'bust' is pretty harsh.

He was good for my Celts and the Suns in particular.

Not sure how much it's fair to expect from an undrafted player before giving him a pass.
Jock is more offensive minded, and more offensively skilled. He's improved his defence, and I think he'll continue to, but how well his outside shot, his passing, and his general athletic ability translate will set his ceiling.

Jock didn't have his best game against the US but still shows more guts and power down low with dunk attempts than Jakob has in over a year.

If this is our final roster, he'll get decent minutes and a chance to develop some more.

I was happy to see him get two years, since the first might be a touch rough. Just adjusting to the NBA 3-point line is going to be both important and potentially time consuming.
And I trust you guys to play a style of play he can understand and hopefully (eventually) thrive in. I think he could be a legit pick and pop weapon at some point, with enough all round ability to not be one dimensional.
