The Premier League has agreed to a £500,000 licensing deal with Apple TV that will allow Ted Lasso to use archive footage, the Premier League\'s logos, club kits and even the league trophy.
Lasso is an American football coach who is hired to manage the fictional AFC Richmond.
Previously skeptical Premier League executives have grown to enjoy the folksy charm of the show.
