Are we just doing this to give the players like a signing bonus to keep them at Lakeland?

I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Poor Australian sports media. Some, who don't specialize in basketball, were saying how this shows NBL is just a step away from NBA.

Not quite! It's just a step below G-League. Although it's possible nobody wanted to use a valuable import spot on him.

EDIT: BJ spent time with the Brisbane Bullets last season.
