Tottenham Hotspur are in advanced talks with Antonio Conte to become their next manager.
Spurs fired Nuno Espirito Santo as manager on Sunday after just 17 matches.
Spurs have offered Conte an initial 18-month contract with the option of a further year.
Conte and Spurs discussed a contract previously during the summer.
Spurs privately denied Conte was ever formally offered the job, but Conte later publicly rejected claims that salary concerns prevented an agreement, adding: \"I look for the projects instead and I am ready to stay at home if something is not convincing me. It has to do with vision, honesty and principles.\"
