Colt McCoy passes have been more precise than Garopollo's .I don't know if it's by better playcalling ,a better O Line or just better quarterbacking abilities.Maybe all of three.

too open on 3rd and 3, then just tried to hit instead of actually making the tackle which probably would have made him come up short

I guess its not as easy as it would seem to us fans. One OL coach said that for those who never played the position, its like being right-handed and suddenly trying to write with your left hand. Unless you are really used to that, it isn't as easy as just saying "just use your other hand." I've never played any OL position so I don't know enough to dispute him.

9ers only have 2 INT's in 9 games. One of those came on Field's desperation heave to end last week's game

At some point the coaches or the front office has to take some blame. Are we drafting bad players, are we doing a bad job developing them, or both. Something needs to change

I've been advocating that the team still has a solid chance at the playoffs, but its becoming more and more clear that this is a decidedly mediocre team that isn't nearly good enough to overcome the pile of bad mistakes they make each and every week.

The Lance trade makes this all so much worse. Being a trash team and not having your next two firsts is brutal.
