Folks were saying that for the weak draft a couple years ago. But we didn’t win. Sure would be nice to have a Lamelo or edwards. I’m sure someone will be good. I’ll take a #1 pick all day long

not a weak draft anymore. top 10-14 looks really good, which is where we'll be picking. outside the lotto, yeah looks pretty bleak

Once Shaedon Sharpe officially enters the top of the draft begins to look a lot better.

The rest of the class is playing pretty solid and it’s looking like it can be a solid draft up top and depth wise.

It’s about 10 guys deep in legit easy to identify potential talent and then 11-20 is a mix of guys with talent but flawed or really high floors that could develop into more. After about 21 or so the whole draft nosedives into guys I think would be 2nd rounders in better years.

So there are about 20 good prospects and thankfully the Knicks are not drafting at something stupid like 25 this year.

Not that much lower. Lowest in the 5-6 range. It would take a 9 game swing to get into the lowest 4 seeds. I actually think we don’t even get as low as 5-6 because those teams also have their eye on the ball and Thibs ain’t tanking. We will probably have 30-35 wins this season which would have us in the 8-10 range and basically drafting where we are already at.

Jabari Smith would be a great fit w/ RJ

Chet would fit nicely next to Zion :nod:

That would look like IQ/Grimes/RJ/Zion/Chet 6th man Cam Reddish

But i do see a lot of “Ivey at PG” around; from what I see (and I watch every Purdue game) , he is NOT a PG. He is a “scorer”. He’d have to be the 2 next to Rj, he is not a playmaker what so ever. His assists come from throwing it to Edey (7’4” kid) or only highlight level passing attempts. 3.0/2.2 A/TO ratio When he drives, his head goes down and he’s not looking for the open man.

Scoring wise / transition however ….. KID CAN SCORE
