Fantastic game by Deni. His defensive chops have been too consistent to dismiss.
And he's making a reasonable number of the shots he's taking. The kid can play.

Honorable mention to Dinwiddie, KCP and Trez (always)

Dinwiddie had an all star game but I’ll give it to Deni. Only 20 years old and playing so composed. Is it his first ever double double?

Deni got my vote but I like the way Spencer stepped up in the 2nd half.

In the postgame they were giving Deni a hard time about not giving the X sign after a defensive stop. He was like I did it you guys just missed it. I saw him do it once for the record.

PS - maybe a stats guy will give us the data but it just seemed to me every time he took a guy (defensively),
the D was great and the stops were regular in coming. He did a way better job on Ingram that anyone else.
And he boarded well.

The team was +18 with Deni on the floor. Next best was Trez at +10.

Third double double of his career (1 against the Bulls, and 1 against the Pistons last season). First of this season.

Awesome. Thank you! Hopefully many more to come. He’s got great rebounding ability.

I wanted to give it to Spence but voted Deni. Lockdown D, tough boards, and some solid offense including a clutch time floater. A team best +18 on the night.

I want to jump on the Deni bandwagon, but the play of Dinwiddie is in the way. No doubt, Deni played well. However, it was Dinwiddie who made some really smart plays in the 2nd half to help bring us back.

Pretty astute. Dinwiddie started the comeback in the 3rd quarter with his offense. Deni did great to help score some stops but I think Dinwiddie was the catalyst for tonight to get things going. That being said... Deni gets it tonight since I suspect Dinwiddie will have more opportunities to be POTG.

I had a tough time deciding between Dinwiddie and Deni. I went with Dinwiddie since our offense was so trash in the first half and he performed so well and led the way on offense in the second half.

This is no slight to Deni, he played a great game, but Dinwiddie came out and put the team on his back after the break.

He set the tone coming out of half-time and gave the Wizards a good boost to chart the rally.

9 assists, 1 turnover, coouple of steals, 5 boards and timely buckets, he's my player of the game.

Didn't see this one so not voting but GREAT! Someone said Harrell was shooting FT at an all time best percentage a couple of threads ago but what I keep seeing that I didn't realize about him before are all the assists. He's really racking them up this year.

Dinwiddie had a tremendous second half &, overall, a terrific game. He's an outstanding player & an extraordinarily interesting person -- I'd love to be in his head for a few days!

But, POTG still goes to Deni. He was quietly dominant.

As I said in the other thread, I gave it to Deni. But I did want to chime in about how well Dinwiddie played too. He arguably deserved it even more than Deni, but you gotta reward the youngster. Dinwiddie will win plenty of other POTGs.
