After a players-only meeting and some crucial rest and practice, we embark on a four-game home stand, first versus a hot west team on the second of a back-to-back. For us it's back to the fundamentals from which everything flows - communication and hustle on D, consistently playing together, and purposeful movement on O, and putting it all together for the whole game. Let's start the reset tonight.

We had a 7-point lead and gave it up with DUMB plays. Lonnie steps out of bounds, and then takes a difficult, unbalanced contested J and miss. I hate him operating with the ball in his hands. I know we're trying to grow guys' games, but he's had THREE years to come up with some new moves and here we are.

BBIQ is an issue for Lonnie and Keldon. Time and again.

Jakob and hit FTs is also an issue - we are TWO for EIGHT!

3s is an issue - 0-4.

No mystery. Just not doing best of what we can be.

DJ drives for once but you can tell he drives in a way to avoid contact and that was on his mind when he missed the bunny. Can't be thinking about two things at once.

BBIQ and HEART. We're a shell shocked team afraid to take 3s because we're afraid to miss them.

And when we're so focused on not making mistakes of course it only makes us make more.

DJ of course takes the most shots - the guy who is supposed to be DISTRIBUTING THE BALL. And has made only two. He has as mane points as 2-2 Diop. Brilliant.

We need to incorporate Jakob more. He's 0-2 and neither of those numbers are ok.

OF COURSE Devin is leading us with 10 points on stellar 4-6 and 2-2 from 3 yet we're not making a more concerted effort to get him the ball. Keldon is at 5-% efficiency and for some reason he is also 3-6. The attempts numbers for both NEED TO GO UP.

Lonnie 1-3; Bryn 0-1. Christ.

Our pace is too slow 44FGAs to their 48 when they're on the second of a back-to-back, only 2-8 from 3 (both by Devin) and only **** 4-11FTs. Nine TOs.

Our 2ND Qs are the second worst (lowest scoring) and our worst is the 3RD Q in terms of getting outscored. So we have not responded coming out of the half.

I appreciate Zen Pop in teaching mode but we need to light a fire under their collective asses minus Devin and Keldon. Who is willing to step up? Devin led the discussion in the players-only meeting, and he's stepping up. Derrick is more assertive and taking a variety of shots and good on D. But we will need the whole team to step up. It just feels too tentative and we're not even doing what we've been doing well so we have to get our heads out of woe-is-me zone and **** play with some heart and pride.

We have to find ways to not get stuck with the switch of Jakob on the perimeter. He's mobile but there's only so much he can do. On the flip side, their big is down low to clean up the glass versus our smaller players. THINK.
