As talented as Green is he plays that AAU game that is not conductive to winning NBA basketball, it's going take a coupe of years for him.

We play them Friday for perhaps sole possession of the worst record.

Tonight's win by Houston would give us sole possession (by percentage anyway)

It's the same crap that we were trying with Suggs and Cole. KPJ and Green were playing 'my turn, your turn'. It's just terrible trying to develop two players that play similar roles.

If the Magic had a somewhat decent bench tonight they would have won. That 4th quarter performance by the bench was brutal and too much for our depleted starters to overcome.

Wow, I was honestly expecting him to get hurt eventually...

This means he's out for 1-2 months.

It just kills me that they are without their key guards (Cole, Markelle) and now Jalen Suggs. It is hurting their play and forcing players like Wagner (point forward) and Suggs (Should be playing SG at this point) out of their elements.

Hopefully, the sprained thumb does not keep Suggs out too long and Cole Anthony and Markelle Fultz return soon. Even getting MCW back would help.

Having Cole out actually helped Franz and Suggs out tremendously to be honest. Cole has a really hard time giving up the ball an involving others which hinders the rookies. So this in itself was a blessing in disguise with his supposed ankle injury.

I'm hoping he can be less ball dominate when they all share the court again when they're all healthy.

Debatable but they all the guard help they can get.

That's going to be awhile for Suggs. What a shame. Just when Suggs was finally figuring some things out. Such a shame. It often feels like the franchise is cursed.

Rolled ankles and sprained thumbs aren't a big deal.

Fractured ones are. Torn ACLs are too. We've really been hit by the injury bug the last few years. Just when you start to get excited about a player, an injury derails them.

Obviously, I was being hyperbolic with my statement, but it's definitely disheartening.

Wendell Carter had his goggles broken. No call. Jalen Suggs had his hand broken. No call.

The bright side is that he'll be back in mid-late January/Early February.

He'll atleast play 50+ games this year. Hopefully he'll remain healthy until the end (Knock on Wood)

at this point just go for franz as pg. his handles are solid enough to go for it full time eventhough it will be ugly at times.

better than signing some bum veteran pg come in and do nothing. we’re (and trying) losing anyway.

Return to Orlando Magic
