NBA Reduces Minimum Quarantine From 10 Days To Six

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Dec 27, 2021 10:09 pm

Vaccinated NBA players and coaches can now quarantine after just six days instead of 10 if COVID-19 testing data shows they're no longer at risk to be infectious.

The reaction in quarantine time is expected to immediately impact the status of numerous players already in protocols.

Data has shown that individuals who have received boosters clear the virus out of their system at a far more rapid rate than those who have not.

I'm sure they don't, but the CDC just updated it's guidance on the issue this week. Based on the data, vaccinated people who aren't experiencing symptoms have a narrow transmission window. If you are experiencing symptoms, then you need to quarantine until you actually fight it off completely.
