I hate that I’m now checking Hornets scores to see how far we are from the play-in line. Hornets win would have put them at 2 GB the Bulls for the 7 seed but it looks like they’re gonna lose

Too early for doing that. We're going to play a lot better with Zach and Green.

Players out and roster construction is totally a valid excuse.

Not entirely for this game but overall struggles.

This team is just mentally in a bad place right now. Getting Zach back will definitely help, but it is going to take some time to shake off the frustration they are all feeling because of injuries and everything else.

No excuses, this is a game they should have been able to win, or at least keep it competitive, but it is what it is.

How is defense the problem when no one can score besides Derozan??

Has anyone besides him scored in the 4th quarter yet?

I mean, can we not have multiple problems? When we're down by 10+, we gotta get stops AND score.

I hope so. I just struggle to see how the Bulls can keep teams from scoring without Lonzo and Caruso for 2 months. green is solid as heck but I’m not sure he’s the kind of player that seemingly transforms the entire defense like Caruso

I wouldn't expect the same results as if we were healthy but we come in with 2 All Stars against the worst team in the league. This should've been a win despite the missing players. On top of the loss it was handed to us in embarrassing fashion, being pushed around, dunked on, in a blow out.

It wasn't just a bad night where we missed shots, had most of the 50/50 balls go the other way, or lost a close one. This was uninspired play, defensive breakdowns, no offensive flow, and further emphasizing our need for size.

We should be able for winning playing some defense but not with guys like Ayo hitting the rookie wall

The magic are missing 3 starters plus a couple of rotation guys. You have no business losing this game... especially with Cole Anthony continuing his terrible play.

Come on man, we all know Vuc isn’t an all star this season. Sure he’s been in the past but he’s played like trash this season. Only all stars are Demar and Zach and today was just Demar and a bunch of scrubs. Coby and ayo showing us that they are truly bench players. Unfair to judge them as starters.

Honestly, I can see us winning if Ross, Harris, etc. were playing. The Magic young players are athletic, hungry, and in attack mode all night. I could see more stagnation with the vets in.

The line was Bulls -3.5. This game was a toss up

Possibly... but only because Ross and Harris shoot more jumpers than Suggs and Franz. The young guys saw Vuc in the paint and went to work.

It's tough.Maybe AK should go for some trade bringing us a good defensive player by the deadline. The problem is what player we could get with our better trading assets injured.
