Which duo would you rather build around?

I think Nash and VC is clearly the best fit, given that neither of Draymond or Webber (despite firing away from mid range frequently) can really shoot.

Neither Luka nor Jimmy Butler is much a spacer and they both like the ball, but I think I'd probably still take this duo.

Nash is easily the best player here, and Vince is better than Green, Webber and Butler (well, there is a thread about him vs Butler).

They both have little overlap on offense as well.

How is having the best AND second best careers on the same team fair? Not much overlap either.
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

It's quite likely that Luka will have the best career out of these players.

Is it? He has the talent to do so, but he seems pretty content with not getting in shape and just relying on his natural gifts.

(Then again, Steve Nash followed a similar career arc, lol). But right now that's a tough sell versus an ironman like Nash, who was probably a small level ahead on his peak IMO.

I'd consider it likely, yes (though not a given). He certainly is on that trajectory. My key point, though, is that a simple look at their careers is not really a be-all and end-all argument when the poll involves players that are still active and therefore some projection is required to answer the question.

You think Vince, who peaked for 1x 2nd all-nba and 1x 3rd all-nba the second best of the bunch?
