Allen Iverson!

Wait, wrong video.

MJ/Magic/Russell is an easy choice here.

Weak PF on that team but yeah, that's what jumped out at me too.

Nash/James/Bird/Davis/KG, though.

I agree
Magic/Dame
MJ/RAllen
Leonard/Barry
Bosh/Arizin
Russell/Reed

Bosh is A BIT of a weak link, but a good fit with that team. Their D would be off the charts

What I take from these participants:

- some of them know their craft; it's easy to identify who
- some of them don't about about NBA's history pre-70's
- some of them don't know how an all-time draft SHOULD work

Come on... I know some of this happens for entertainment value, but take a look at the first 10/15 players taken... obviously later on some teams would be much, much stronger than others.

I don't think D.L. Hughley's team has enough PFs

Barry is the backup 4 (or Magic can play 4 to hide him defensively!), Arizin was a moderately sized wing (listed at 6'4) and even using the bb-r numbers, Barry is listed as 3 inches taller (my old basketball cards had Barry at 6'8).

Nash
Lbj
Bird
KG
Jokic

Seems like it would have a lot of playmaking, but who plays PG? None of those players are as good offball except KG.

Magic
MJ
Kawhi
Rick Barry
Bill Russell

I don’t like Bill Russell in these, as his impact is far more limited with the 3-point shot... but that team is definitely the best in terms of talent.

CP3
Jerry west
Pippen
KD
Shaq

That team is also quite good. Although it doesn’t have the talent, I like the fit best.

It's impossible to pick a bad team with the top-75 players of all time. This whole process was brutal though, and I turned it off pretty quickly. Michael, Magic and Russell ending up on the same team in an 8 team draft (all of which have been in the GOAT conversation at some point, with one still being the most commonly considered as such) feels like an obvious choice for most talented. It might actually be the best fitting squad too if you slot Magic as the PG/PF with MJ and Ray or Dame at guard.

Team Dominique
Oscar/Wilkens
Harden/Pierce
Wilkins/Schayes
Karl/Pettit
Moses/Ewing

Not my favorite, not feeling the fit between various guys. I'd probably start Ewing actually.

Team West
Stockton/Sharman
Kobe/Hondo
Baylor/Melo
Barkley/Thurmond
Wilt/Robinson

Not wowed by the team West built here, lots of guys that struggled to pass at various points, Thurmond on a team that already has Wilt/Robinson just seems wasteful.

Team Sue Bird
Nash/Maravich
LeBron/Jones
Bird/Worthy
KG/DeBusschere
Jokic/Davis

My favorite so far, think they'd make it work with all that passing. Never been a Maravich guy.

Team Inside the NBA
Thomas/Archibald
Wade/Miller
Drexler/Cunningham
Cowens/McAdoo
KAJ/Unseld

Talent level a bit lower, but I do like the overall fit here, think this team could surprise a lot of squads.

Team NBA on TNT
CP3/Cousy
West/Monroe
Pippen/Klay
KD/Mikan
Shaq/Parish

That starting lineup is absolutely dirty, used that WC a bit early though and on a player who doesn't blow me away in this level of competition.

Team Quavo
Frazier/Iverson
Curry/Greer
Gervin/Westbrook
DrJ/Rodman
Giannis/Hayes

Drafted a few too many guards here Quavo. I managed to slap together a starting lineup I liked well enough (I might prefer Rodman over Gervin), but hot damn that bench makes no sense. Just tough to get straight with 6 guys who are really 1's or 2's.

Team According to Sources
MJ/Dame
Allen/Arizin
Kawhi/Barry
Magic/Bosh
Russell/Reed

That's a loaded squad, another meh WC usage though I'd say.

Team DL Hughley
Payton/Kidd
McGrady/Bing
McHale/Lucas
Duncan/Dirk
Hakeem/Walton

A decent WC usage, but wth is that roster balance. Need some trades with Team Quavo.

I'd have it in between Sue and According to sources. With TNT giving them a real run for their money. Inside the NBA the sleeper squad.

I was shocked Jerry drafted Melo when Barry was still on the board. That was a bad pick
