Feels like JJJ, Mobley are too low, potentially Barnes is too low as well

First thing that jumps out is Desmond Bane being ahead of so many players.
But the very top of the list is good, it's passable.

obviously its going to be a weird mix of established and potential when you go all the way up to 25.
but the article title says "based on future potential" and I think with that in mind you gotta have Mobley significantly higher yeah? just on cursory glance I'd swap Mobley with Bam at least, then put Bam where Ingram is and but Ingram down where Mobley is.

Ingram feels too high on this list, wouldn't even have Maxey on here but otherwise looks pretty uncontroversial

If we're talking about potential, Mobley is ranked way too damn low. Inexcusable mistake.
Green being ranked behind Bridges and Bane is also ridiculous. This kid is still so young and he has proven that he can really score. Him and Edwards are the future of shooting guard.
And where's my boy, Jordan Poole!?

Yeah feel like they struggled to find a good middle ground between how good are they now and how good do they think they'll be.

This list is basically a ‘how good are they right now’ list and it’s horrible
Desmond Bane is 3 years older than Jalen Green you are telling me he’s going to be a better player in one season than Green will in 4? He’s going to be worse than Herro! Lol
Mobley, Green, Barnes are underrated
Ingram, Haliburton, Bane, Allen, Herro, etc are too high
I won’t be surprised if someone like Mobley or Jalen Green is the best player in the NBA in 5 years

Potential growth or do we factor in how good they are now? And I mean...how Zion isn't top 3 is tough for me given his just crazy raw potential. he might not get there but he's got potential off the charts.

JP definitely belongs in the list, he's playing like a borderline all star.
He's already better than Wiggins, who was an all star this season...

Trae and Garland are easily better than Morant.

Not surprised to not see RJ Barrett on the list but under 25 seems a little high to me. A lot of these guys are already pretty established. We generally know what to expect of them moving forward. I'd rather see a Top 22 under 22 or something like that.

Cade Cunningham @ 6 is

He isn't even the best rookie.
Before SGA, Bam Adebayo, Darius Garland, Anthony Edwards
and Brandon Ingram......who made this list Stevie Wonder?

Yeah it's just odd to be ranking guys at 25 years old on future potential. The way guys are now..25 is like basically prime with 4-6 seasons of data behind them. Idk how you can compare that to a 19 year old rookie in any meaningful fashion.

"Based on future potential" and there's like 6 all stars on the list?? Just how good do they think Tatum or Trae is gonna get?

I mean there is a good chance Tatum ends up top 5 in MVP voting this year. I'd say that is a pretty high ceiling for a player.

2 guys in the top 10 and 3 in the top 15. I'll take it.

I don’t understand if it’s based on potential where they are now. The list is fine I guess. Doesn’t really mean anything.

I don't think they mean potential as in unrealized as much as they mean a projection of their impact moving forward. Or at least that's how I interpreted it.
So guys like Tatum and Trae who have established such high level of play today and who have potentially a decade remaining as high level players should be high on the list.
