I only start series threads when it's game time and there's no series thread, so I try to make them so low effort that people will not make that mistake in the future.

But then we went on a four-series winning streak and, well, here we are.

Anyway, we're going Japanese, Puerto Rican and American cooking this weekend. Whether our Dominican 1B will be back in the lineup is question to be answered yet.

9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

None of the above. He's quietly been subbed in as the starting pitcher as the team just likes the chemistry and personal qualities he brings to the table.

Or this... he's been anointed manager and is starting Montoyo in CF hitting leadoff!

Didn't Kirk have a day like on Wednesday? Why is Heianman catching again. Charlie almost had a good lineup lol

Kirk was benched two days in a row two days ago (Tuesday/Wednesday), yes. Also didn't start on Sunday either. The lineup makes no sense again (unless Montoyo thinks he is running a house league team), but it is the closest it has come to making sense this week.

charlie really putting on a masterclass in coach/player parent relations with these line-ups. all the parents must be so happy their sons get regular playing time.

I’ve heard Kirk might have a minor injury. Would make sense. Charlie being a moron also adds up, tho.

Oooh! Truly a shrewd managerial move. That means the Jays are winning 3-2.
