Re: Greenberg: Bulls interested in Thybulle
I just want to see a lineup of Ball, Caruso, Thybulle, Patrick and Gobert out there. They could win a full game 10-8.

I would just want Thybulle to save Zach because Thybulle used to put the CLAMPS on Zach.

If we could, it'd be interesting to see what we could flip 18 + 23 into. Certainly makes the Gobert trade minus Williams a little more realistic.
Future picks contain no financial 'value' in trade deals, so can easily be added. Same with player rights from my understanding.
You're definitely right about that, but the only reason I'm unsure about it is because players traded for TPE's can only be traded by themselves. I'm not sure if that excludes draft picks or not.

Jerami Grant was just traded along with the 45th pick for a TPE and picks.

Re: Greenberg: Bulls interested in Thybulle
Didn't see him opt out.
I'm totally In on PJ Tucker for 2 years at like 20 million.
I bet he wants 3, this is his last deal.
He's got the ring. He wants $$$$
This is your rent-a-goon to muck it up, slow it down and get in KD's, Gianns and Embiid head.
Is it an overpay for a 38 year old guy? Yes
But the guy has just played 100 playoff games the last 6 years.
If only we had PJ instead of DJJ last year.
I don't see why we need Thybulle if we have Lonzo.
Unless Lonzo really not playing for a while
or we're planning to deal Coby.........

If you know the Bulls history you have to know the moment PJ's 6'5 38 yr old ass touches down in Chicago on a 3 year deal hes gonna washed .
Hes not gonna be in anyone's head we are gonna be yelling why Billy has him on the court for 30 mpg providing little to nothing .
I simply don't trust Donovan enough to take that type of risk
Got a Gold Name Plate that says "I wish you would"

Re: Greenberg: Bulls interested in Thybulle
If Philly is really out there desperate to package Thybulle and 23, they can have Javonte Green. That would be a great deal for us. I'm sure somebody could offer something better, but apparently they haven't yet. Gotta at least submit the offer, I would say.

I agree with this, and nothing against Thy, but as we sit today, he seems like a terrible use of effort and assets. I believe that after a year, we would be in agreement with Philly, like Thy, but not plug and play, makes the game harder for the team on the offensive end. A fairly high scoring playoff team with ample 3 pt shooting would be an ideal landing spot for Thy.
Kyrv, where the hell have you been?
My guess is that they're looking to salary dump him. His value seems low. I would guess that we could just absorb him with our trade exception or at most the Sixers would ask for a 2nd round pick.
Hadn't even thought of the TPE. Yes, Philly, we will accept Thybulle and #23 for...nothing. Thank you, yes please.
He can't shoot but he's an elite defender, depending on the lineups other teams trot out at a given time we can use Thybulle as a center at times probably. If he's free, you definitely take him. If he comes with a free FRP, you DEFINITELY take him.

LOL you're probably right, but maybe he can mentor PWill.
Get some fire in that kid. Be like I'm 4 inches shorter than you, but watch me go get in KD's head.
I never pictured myself coveting the guy, but I laughed when they signed Caruso too.

I wonder if maybe AK is dyslexic with regards to player heights. The last thing on earth that we need is yet another 6'-5" guy.

Last I read, PHI was considering throwing in #23 for someone to absorb his deal so that they could offer more to Tucker. If we can use our TPE, I'd do that deal 10 times out of 10.

I want him fired on the spot if he even suggests that.

Now this i would do. Pick up a quality defender and a first for nothing? Absolutely.

So AK thought he'd be getting a 5'-6" player?

This obviously clears the way for PJ Tucker.

Re: Greenberg: Bulls interested in Thybulle
Guess we decided to draft Thybulle (who ME drafted in PHI) instead of trading for him.
