Steph/KD/Draymond vs Wade/LeBron/Bosh
Which trio in their average prime condition would you take for one postseason in today's game?

Prime Bron is great, but I take the team with two MVPs and the DPOY in their prime.

Prime LeBron, Wade and Bosh. Bosh can roam around and let Draymond clank 3s.

Bron Wade Bosh probably sound better on paper, but GSW one is a better fit. I would take GSW

Bron Bosh Wade sound better on paper but the Kerr system and Steph's off-ball movement allows Steph Dray and KD to maximize their talent and effectiveness so, Steph, KD and Draymond.
I was actually writing Klay here because I thought KD was Klay. Even if you replace KD with Klay I would take them anyway simply because of Kerr and Steph not being a ball-dominant guard and non ball-dominant #1

I just don't understand anyone's rationale for NOT taking the Warriors trio when it's been proven to be undoubtedly more successful.

It said average prime condition. Wade fell off a bit athletically with the Heatles but if we are assuming prime Wade then I’d go with them.

Both trios won 2 rings and made the finals each year they were together. The Heat trio only got one year of prime Wade. He declined pretty substantially after that. The Warriors trio really wasn’t even a trio. They had Klay Thompson as well.

They were a lebron choke away from 3peating. They went back to back with Wade exiting his prime having shoddy bone on bone knees.
Its like some of you forgot how devastating this trio was transforming their swarming defense into:

I think a lot people believe that Curry is a better player than LeBron but are too scared to say it.
Not me tho,

I think Lebron's 15 16 teams were better than his 2011, 2014 and 2012 teams. I think 17 is somewhhere in the middle because of Lebron mainly. (his 2018 team and 2014 team are probably the weakest) His 2013 team is probably better than all the cavs teams other than 2016. If we're talking literally 3 on 3, im tempted to take wade lebron bosh, but if you're putting up those teams against one another. Probably take the warriors. Draymond was actaully an Elite role player once upon a time.

38.8 3PT% (by far his best season, next highest is 33.7%; can you say, "anomaly"?) is not splash. It's very good though.

Re: Steph/KD/Draymond vs Wade/LeBron/Bosh
Prime wade was 30ppg on near 50% shooting, getting to the line 10 times and getting over 7 assists. He didn't win an MVP but he was an MVP player. We all saw what he did in the 06 finals. Prime Bron and Wade are getting to the rim and the free throw line on an absurd level and it won't be Harden type fouls. They will be the most devastating transition duo. They would be a great defensive duo also. They may not shoot it as well as KD/Curry but they are a much better defensive duo, much more physical and athletic. Bad shooting nights won't affect them anywhere near as much as KD/Curry. Then there is Bosh vs Dray. Dray is the better defender and passer. However Bosh is a really good defender in his own right but the offensive gap is so much more in favor of Bosh. Lastly prime Heat Lebron is probably the greatest physical specimen to ever walk the earth and probably should have won DPOY in 13. Now if GSW has better pieces around their trio than the Heat do that makes it more interesting.

Without Klay and Iguodala that trio isn't scary.

Re: Steph/KD/Draymond vs Wade/LeBron/Bosh
The answer to this is pretty obviously Steph/KD/Draymond IMO.
A couple points:
1. We saw these sets of players together, and while they were both great, GS was far more dominant than Miami.
2. The question posits that it is “in today’s game.” Today’s game is quite a bit more three-point heavy than it was even 8-11 years ago when those Heat played. And none of those Heat players are great three-point shooters. LeBron and Bosh are okay at it, but IMO Wade would be a substantially less effective player in today’s game than he was when he actually played.
There’s only really two counterpoints I see to this. The first is that the question didn’t posit that the Warriors group has Klay, and you might argue that without Klay that team wouldn’t have been more dominant than that Heat team was. The second is that the question posited that the players were in their average prime condition, and that Wade was better pre-LeBron than he was in the years with LeBron. But all three Heat stars were in their prime in 2011–and they didn’t win the title. Meanwhile, while Klay is really good, I don’t know that he’s so much better than someone like old Ray Allen (though admittedly they got Ray Allen after you could argue Wade had declined a bit), and as a factual matter the Warriors absolutely dominated the minutes where Curry/KD/Draymond played and Klay was out. It’s not an enormous sample (only like 600 minutes), but the fact that they had a better net rating in those minutes than they did in the minutes with Curry/KD/Draymond/Klay does tend to undermine an argument that the Warriors’ dominance would’ve been significantly lessened without Klay.
