1982 Celtic, 76er, Lakers, no 3s, no Kareem, vs modern

A team of super hybrid players but their 3s count for 2 points and I am not giving them Kareem
If I give them Kareem thy might not play fast break ball. If I give them Kareem the Kareem fans might overate the team.

Hybrid best of players. Can you beat modern 3 point shooting teams without using the 3?
Lakers and 76ers di not shoot 3s anyway and 1982 was a down year for Celtic 3s. Michael Cooper and Magic would shoot 3s later in their career.

The team is allowed too shoot all the 3s that they want but the 3s will only count for 2.

Best traits of each player combined into one player

Parrish, Caldwell Jones, McAdoo
Robey, Dawkins, Landsberger
McHale, Bobby Jones, Rambis
Bird Bantom Magic
Maxwell Mix Wilkes
ML Carr, Cooper Dr J
Ford Hollins Mike McGee
Ainge Toney Clay Johnson
Henderson Clint Richardson Fast Eddie Jordan
Archibald Cheeks Nixon

Some notes on players
Landsber was a rebound magnet. Dawkins had a great body for rebounding but sometimes forgot to rebound. Robey ran the floor well for a big man.

Stive Mix was a cagey vet with a bag of tricks and a high field goal percentage.
Fast Eddie Jordan was getting minutes until he got injured mid season. Archibald got injured in the Eastern conference finnals. For this hypothetical all the player use both the best of how they played in conference finals and how they plyed at mid season.Fast Eddie ad led the keague in steals once and was good at pressuring the ball and was a great playmaker but Fast Edie Jordan could not shoot. Gerald Henderson was an average shooter for a point guard and a betterthan averge shooter for a back up point guard. Clinton Richardson was strong and determined. Henderson/Richardson/Fast Eddie Jordan combined is a good player.

Ainge was a confused rookie who could not hit a shot for most of 1982 but Ainge did have court vision. Toney was a stone cold assassin when shooting deep 2s but strangely Toney did not shoot 3s.

Putting McHale’s infinitely long arms on Bobby Jone’s fast good jumping legs creates a monster defender. McHale was not yet the post player with 1,000 moves but his turn around jumper was reliable.

Bantom adds nothing to Bird/Magic except humility.
McAdoo turns Parish into a shooter. Caldwell Jones was more mobile than Parish and had a great mind for defending power forwards. Not that Parish wasn’t already mobile.

Maxwell was a great inside scorer and offensive rebounder. Wilkes hit jump shots and really worked the fast break well with Magic and Nixon.

Modern teams with their legal zones could sag and punish the 1982 team for it’s lack of 3 point shooting. 1982 teams already sagged despite the illegal defense being in effect on paper even if it was rarely called. I think the 1982 team has the skills to beat a packed in defense.

We are playing by modern rules with legal zones.

So what happens if this 1982 super team goes up against Kobe Shaq Lakers or the 2017 Warriors or 2022 Warriors.
