I know people aren't necessarily excited about him, but he's a great piece to have at the end of our bench. I didn't even realize this, but Forbes was a full season starter on the last Spurs team to make the playoffs.

Since he became a regular rotation guy in his second year, Bryn is a .416 shooter on 4.5 attempts per game (7.4 3s per36).

Beasley was lauded for his putting up tons of 3s, .389 on 10.6 3s per36....over the last three seasons, Forbes shot .417 on 8.7 3s per36.

Regardless, we have him now and I'm very glad we do.

I think he is a shorter version of Kyle Korver - effective in the right situation for limited minutes. For some teams, Kyle only worth as much as a copy machine :-)

Forbes looks to me is a very good fit with Gobert in the middle and a couple players who could switch on D.

It should also be pointed out that Pops brought him back and TC signed him after trading for him. While he has never signed a long-term deal with a team, smart people like him for what he is.
