Was the only reason to watch the team in our early years. Don’t even blame him for demanding a trade off that hot garbage of a squad

Hate him or love him (I'd wager 90% love him), he really made it easy being a Raptors fan early on.

A rookie point guard who comes in and averages 20/8 nightly, winning ROY, and is an instant fan favorite.

Having such promising talent early on in Damon, Tmac, and Vince really allowed the Raps to survive. All the players came in and actually played games. We're so lucky they didn't pull a Steve Francis on us or we might have had the same fate as the Grizzlies.

I wonder how it would have been if the Expansion was just Toronto in 1995. That would have been 28 teams.

Then, 4-5 years later, you bring in Vancouver and another team to make it 30.

And not just the players but the entire front office and coaching staff as well.

I'll always have a soft spot for him, even though he was the original "I'm going to force my way out" player, and after only 2.5 seasons. At least he's come out to say he regretted it (also Isiah was a snake).

He was horribly miscast as a high-usage shot maker, but he was pretty much all we had.

If our management wasnt so garbage for half our existence we wouldn't have the stench of "Players dont want to be there" stuck to us

Nothing but love for Stoudamire. He's the reason I splurged on the Air Zoom Flights back in the day. I didn't care they only had a half size smaller and I didn't care they made my toes bleed. Nice to see him showing love to Toronto even tho hes technically the enemy now.

I still remember going to Fairview mall with my buddies a couple of hours before his autograph session at Sears and it was rammed packed in there, so much that we didn't even get his autograph. We just got handed free pics of Daman with no autograph.

What could have been with Mighty Mouse and Marcus Camby. A season and a half, give or take.

TMac gets drafted in 1997...and Darrell Walker absolutely craps on him. I get the tough love thing...but goddamn it was painful, and looking back...it was actually sad what he did...or didn't do with TMac.

Mighty Mouse, Camby and TMac on a squad.

What a time.

I want to say Lloyd 'Sweet Pea' Daniels was on that squad. Or maybe it the season before in 96?

Damon was where the super fandom started! I legit have 20+ different Damon Stoudamire rookie cards as a kid. Gifts for Christmas, BDay, A’s in school, anything... all I wanted my mom to get was Mighty Mouse rookie cards. My wife got me one of those personalized messages from Damon on Father’s Day a couple of years back, best gift ever. Love that dude.

I wonder what Jesus thought about Toronto
Google "Hind Rajab"
Total Killed by Israel = 50,000+
Israel kills a child every 45 minutes.
Total being starved by Israel = 500,000 -1,000,000

One guest, dead or alive? Oh yeah, I'd pick Drake as well, dead.

Ehhh, or maybe alive.

Who is a better player; Damon or FVV?

Return to Toronto Raptors
