Net offense, pace and 3 point attempts

Post#1 » by sweetlou23 » Fri Sep 2, 2022 11:02 am

It’s going to interesting to see how the Nets offense plays this year. I expect a fast paced offense that takes and makes a ton of threes and punishes teams in transition and in the half court as well. They should have excellent ball movement, spacing and shot creation and should be a nightmare to defend. Simmons is one of the best in the league at creating 3 point shots for others he will be surrounded by excellent shooters. Should be a fun ride.

Depends if KD and Kyrie buy in to pace and space.

We need to get 15 + PPG from Joe Harris. If that happens our winning percentage will be one of the best in the league. Hopefully he comes back at 100% and his shooting efficiency is still high. Another thing we need from Joe is for him to step it up in the playoffs, His last playoff series against Milwaukee was a horror show and one of the main reasons we lost the series.

75 games of healthy Joe with 15/4/2 on shooting splits of 45/46/77 would do wonders for this team. I'm hoping for it.

I don’t think buy in is going to be an issue. Durant and Kyrie want to win. This team is almost perfectly constructed for this kind of offense. Nash, whose seven seconds or less suns pioneered this, has got to be excited about the possibilities Curry said last year after his first Nets game that he had not run so much in years, so there is already a pace increase over his time with the Sixers. Ben is going to thrive. Can’t wait!
