That's reasonably close, but I prefer Duncan's two way game and ability to dominate defensively over Wade's offensive profile.

It depends on roster tbh. And maybe even on era

I prefer Wade for how special his playoff run was, but Duncan had pretty rock solid two-way impact from start to finish so I get his argument.

Re: '06 Dwyane Wade vs '07 Tim Duncan
Wade had to carry a significantly greater offensive burden than Duncan, and his playoff run was infinitely more impressive. He had to take out two 60 win teams without HCA in Detroit & Dallas, while Duncan had to beat a 2nd tier contender (at best) in Utah, who only made it to the conference finals due to the fluke of facing an 8 seed in the 2nd round, then literally one of the worst Finals teams ever in Cleveland.
Who would you rather take is definitely a legitimate question, but which player had the more impressive season? To me this is clearly Wade.

Did you ignore Suns team on purpose?

I'm confused. Was there a major era shift between 06 and 07? The big rule change happened before this.

I meant that there may be eras where duncan or wade benefit more than the other
For example wade may benefit more from modern spacing that duncan as his slashing would be more valuable and duncan rim protection a bit less
