Riley, before you retire, it's time for the Wade Statue outside the Arena.

Riley, before you retire, it's time for the Wade Statue outside the Arena.

It's time we start displaying our legacy outside our arena, to bring more prestige and honor and winning culture to our team. Plus, adds more to the fan experience to take selfies with them.

The Lakers did it with their greats. Bulls did it with MJ.

We need to do it for our greats, as we have some incredible Hall of Famers on our resume.

Wade statue should be the first to go up.
Then Lebron's when he retires (yes I dont like him either, but he won his first 2 rings here and is a part of us)

Personally, I'd love an Alonzo one too, but he didn't win until 2006 I guess.
Maybe a Shaq one, since he did win a ring here?

I just want our arena to display our greatness outside just like the other great franchises do. We are a historic winning organization now.

This is really the kind of thing you're worried about?

LeBron is not getting a damn statue here, neither is Shaq. Statues are for the lifers, bron has bounced around too much for that. I'm sure they'll hang up his jersey one day. Shaq, we retired his jersey and that's enough. Wade is the only Heat player worthy of such an honor, and even then a statue is a Mickey Arison decision not a Pat Riley one.

Grumpy has picked some weird hills to die on, so this isn’t really much to see. Gotta respect Grumpy though, 100% true to the name and always brings their truth.

Agreed about Bron & Shaq. Numbers retired, but no statues. Right now we’re a 1-statue franchise. There are franchises that have been around longer and are 0-statue franchises.

It'll probably go up at the same time as the Haslem statue.

It would be cool if it were a legacy bust with Shula, Riley, Arison, Spo, Robbie, Zo, Wade, LeBron,Shaq,Marino, Csonka, Ray Allen, Rice, OJ McDuffie, Vandeusky (that panther goalie lol) etc.

Like a life-sized class photo bust. That way when Miami is underwater in 200 years the bust will be under the sea and stay a fine tourist attraction.

I actually know how to get this made lol.
