They're coming off a weird win in Philadelphia as Chase pointed out.
Deni and Rui played well. KP and Brad played like All-Stars. Encouraging but again, its against a depleted squad.
On Friday, the Bullets welcome a franchise in chaos. The Nets are coming off a summer where KD requested a trade, then requested Steve Nash and Sean Marks fired, then returned to the team in September when it was clear that Joe Tsai was not trading him in year one of his new 4-year $200M contract. Then there's the Kyrie situation stemming back a couple seasons now where he hasn't been available to play due to one reason or another. And this past week, Kyrie found himself in a media storm due to sharing a film with anti-semitic tropes. And then there's the coach. Steve Nash was fired this week and suddenly, disgraced suspended Celtics HC Ime Udoka is now reportedly the next coach of the Nets (he was an assistant there in 2020-21). Sean Marks hasn't confirmed this reporting.
And we haven't even gotten to Ben Simmons!

The Nets do not defend and are reliant on outscoring their opponents. If the Bullets are going to get a win at home, they will need to defend the 3 and make some 3s.
I think this is a #SoWizards classic 'get right' game for Brooklyn. I expect them to win by 8-10 points.
