I'm a Celtics fan, this isn't me hating on my own team or my favorite player in the league.

But Jaylen retweeting a protest of protestors who are anti semitic... well I'm not sure how that's better than Irving tweeting out that movie.

And it's not me just saying that but as an appeal to authority... As of December 2019, the Southern Poverty Law Center "lists 144 Black Hebrew Israelite organizations as black separatist hate groups because of their antisemitic and anti-white beliefs"....

I get that he says "energy" though and you could say it's pro protesting in general but I'm guessing there are a lot of protests that happen in the world he could choose if it was just to support protesting (how about the pro women's rights one that the Iran team almost got kicked out of the World cup for supporting?) that he could bring attention too.

But he specifically brought attention to this one and while before I thought he was just playing politics to win points with the players at this point it looks like he's supporting the message that got Irving suspended.

So my question is, if Irving was suspended for what he shared and it's promotion of problematic believes... is there any way this doesn't result in an identical suspension for Jaylen Brown?

Saying that they are the descendants of the ancient Israelite is already sketchy to begin with. Imagine a white player starting to spread that they are from Africa, and the descendant of black people, even though no black man is found anywhere in their lineage going back hundreds of years? How do you think that would turn out? Do you think we would just say, "well, if go back enough, to our common African ancestors, hundreds of thousands of years, he is right!"? I personally don't think this is what would happen.

Jaylen Brown is an idiot just like Kyrie is, it's amusing to me that so many (including an entire fanbase) called this man the "smartest player in the NBA". He's the same type of idiot that Kyrie is, the difference is in perception, popularity (in controversy) and years in the NBA.

That’s called a stereotype. It’s offensive to people who are fans like me who simply have heritage and linage to Hebrews and I am black. Extremely disrespectful.

I actually think the claim of descent from ancient Israelites alone isn't a big deal. It's not historically accurate, but not inherently offensive. For example, Amare Stoudemire is a Black Hebrew Israelite and believes he is descended from one of the Lost Tribes and thus closely related to modern Jews, and he faced basically zero controversy and even ended up converting to Judaism and naturalizing as an Israeli citizen and is now accepted as a Jew. The ADL and SPLC agree this particular belief isn't antisemitic.

The offensive part is that the more extreme BHI's believe that modern Jews aren't descended from ancient Israelites, but instead stole the identity of Black people they enslaved, and now control the media and society to suppress that secret about Black identity and avoid being exposed as frauds and servants of Satan. This part is just a classic antisemitic conspiracy theory that happens to have some fictional claims about ancestry and the slave trade layered on top.
