I still trust PJ more then I do Thybulle come play-off time.

You look at how a team like Boston will play us down the stretch in the playoffs, I suspect it will look a lot like how Indiana played us this week: spreading the floor and Halliburton and Mathurin taking turns in iso. Except Halliburton and Mathurin aren’t good enough to make that strategy pay off (unless Doc plays PJ and Trez together again). Tatum and Brown would be a different story. I think a 2-3 defender like Thybulle will be more valuable than a 3-4 defender like PJ in the playoffs. Let’s hope he can provide enough offense to be viable.

I think it’s more of a reminder that you have to temper your growth curve projections for 4-year guys. He was a passable playmaker and shooter compared to other potential draftees because he was older. But he might just not have much more ceiling. Same story with Paul Reed, and by all accounts, he’s an insane worker.
I also agree Tisse is probably not one of those fanatical workers like Maxey.
