Lakers: Westbrook, Beverly, and a 2027 1st top 10 protected

Charlotte: Rozier, Hayward, and Plumlee

Lakers: Get Lebron some help

Charlotte: Get a pick and get a ton of capspace

what happens if that pick falls into protection? does it roll over to 2028 or 2029? If it just becomes a 2nd rounder that would be a deal breaker imo.

I think it should just be top 10 protected until it conveys if that's possible

2029 is the cut off, so 2027 prot 1-10, 2028 prot 1-10, 2029 unp is the most you can do while guaranteeing the pick eventually conveys. I'm fine with it but would LA just rather unprotect one pick so that the other can be traded?
